What is the diameter and depth of this bowl stand?
Small: The outer width of the bowl stand measures 6.75" across. The inside of the bowl stand is 5.6" in diameter. The bowl stand is 2.25" deep with a slight curve around the bottom edges.
Large: The outer width of the bowl stand measures 8.625" across. The inside of the bowl stand is 8" in diameter. The bowl stand is 4.875" deep.
Can I wash this bowl in the dishwasher?
The inner bowl can be removed and dishwasher safe. It is recommended to wipe the outer bowl stand with a damp cloth and dry by hand.
Can I store extra food in the Terrazzo bowl stand?
The bowl stand was not originally intended for storing extra food or water. Having said that, the large bowl could store additional food underneath the inner bowl. The food would need to be packaged, not placed directly into the bowl stand.
Can the Terrazzo be used as an outdoor pet bowl?
The polyresin material may be ok outdoors but could fade in the sun and rain over time. The Terrazzo pet bowl stand has not been officially tested or intended for outdoor use.
Are there glass or plastic bowls that could be replaced for the steel bowls in these?
We don't have any glass or plastic bowls that we have tested, but you can likely find some. The Terrazzo bowl stand is not shaped to the stainless steel bowl, unlike some of our other stands. This means the depth and shape of the replacement bowl wouldn't matter very much with this stand. The diameter of the replacement bowl would need to be similar, and it would need to have a lip that holds it in the stand. If you find something that works we'd love to hear about it!
is the bottom a gold trim? I can’t tell from the images.
Hello, the bottom of the bowl stand is painted gold. It is all part of the same stand, not a separate piece.
How heavy is the product?
The Terrazzo bowl stands are heavy: around 6.9lbs each.
